| Women are complex? Not true! Simply stated, women enjoy many of the wonderful things life has to offer. The ever changing way of the world creates opportunities to enhance your life and the lives of those around you.
Titles are important? Not true! But in a rare compliant moment, I'll offer some of the ones I've been introduced with. (They're not all necessarily true, but I have been introduced with each one of these.)
Diane Garnick
Adventurous Traveler, bestowed upon me for my love of third world travel and last minute get aways.
All Star Analyst, I have won a few prestigious awards, but primarily have worked with smart people and we won as a team.
Altruistic Fool, this one comes up pretty often; I guess I'm always looking out for others at my own expense.
Author, hundreds of Wall Street reports and my first book coming out in the spring of 2010.
Basketball Fan, I still say this one is completely untrue, but the press seems to think I know the difference between a point guard and a forward guard (they're both tall, right?).
Benevolent Donor, primarily to children's charities and underprivileged women's organizations.
Cheapest Lady on Earth, I must confess, this title fits me like a glove (a half priced glove that is).
Debutante, Ok, I never actually heard this one, but believe me, none of the other young girls in my neighborhood heard it either.
Egomaniac, I have my own website. Need I say more?
Friend, I am so blessed to hear people call me this. This is my second favorite title, followed only by Mom.
Gorgeous Blonde, I've had this one a few times and since I just confessed to being an egomaniac, I thought I could easily slip it in here.
High Caliber Dancer, I enjoy the only art form in the world where the artist is also the medium.
Idiot, I guess I'll hear this title until my kids are done with their teenage years. Well, at least I hope I stop hearing it one day.
Loyal, to family, friends, and organizations. It takes a lot of work, but I hope to keep this one always true.
Mentor, to as many people as possible. I hope I can help everyone fulfill their big dreams in life.
Mom, to two beautiful girls who enrich my life more than anything else ever could make this title far and away my favorite one to ever hear! I have to brag a little.
Negotiator Extraordinaire, I don't think I could afford to be on the other side of a deal with myself.
Plain Jane, I heard it once. I'm not sure how they came about calling me that, but I guess someone thought it was true. I remember the audience laughing though, so perhaps it was just for effect.
Red Sox Fan, I try to minimize it, but I really appreciate the plight of the underdog. Deep down, I feel their pain and cross my fingers for their victory (especially when they play in "Da Bronx"!).
Typical Do Gooder, I'm not quite sure if this is an insult or not, but I hear it often from a friend who seems to believe that's who I am.
Writer, I always want to write more often and improve my current writing. I guess those are characteristics of all writers.
Did I miss another obvious title? Is there another title you would easily give me? If so, let me know. I'll gladly add it to the list. Well, I'll at least "consider" adding it.
